About The Race

Run a Beautiful Course on Victoria Day

The Victoria Day Royal Race is Toronto's premier Victoria Day running event, featuring a fast, flat and scenic course along the lakeshore in High Park.

Explore the park's picturesque scenes as you run through one of Toronto's most beautiful natural settings. This is the perfect course and time of year to plan to run a personal best and/or bring the whole family for a day of active fun!

The race route starts at Spring Rd & Colborne Lodge Dr, turns left onto West rd and explores some of the trails to the south of High Park. It does a loop through the beautiful Greenhouse before heading back to Spring Rd.

9:00 AM

Race Kit Pick-Up Opens

Pick up your race kit, which includes your bib number and timing chip. You MUST pick up your race kit in order to take part in the race.

10:00 AM

5KM Race Start

The 5KM race begins promptly at 10:00 AM. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time.

10:30 AM

2KM Fun Run Start

The 2KM fun run begins at 10:30 AM, perfect for families and beginners.

11:00 AM

Awards & Prizes Ceremony

Join us for the awards ceremony where we'll celebrate top finishers and distribute prizes.

Race Course

Course Details

The race starts and finishes at High Park, Toronto, Colborne Lodge Dr & Spring Rd.

The route takes runners through some of the most scenic areas of High Park, offering beautiful views and a fast, flat course perfect for personal bests.

Aid stations will be serving water and snacks at the start/finish line. Portable toilets will also be available.

For safety reasons, no dogs or strollers are allowed to take part in the races.

Race Day Logistics

Parking & Transportation

There will be NO RACE DAY PARKING in High Park. Runners should park along High Park Ave, Quebec Ave & Pacific Ave.

Public transportation is highly recommended. High Park subway station is a short walk from the race start.

Race Kit Pick-Up

SAME DAY KIT PICK UP. You MUST pick up your race kit, which includes your bib number and chip, in order to take part in the race.

Kit Pickup will become available 1 hour prior to the 5k race, at 9:00 AM.

Aid Stations

Aid stations will be available at the start/finish area, offering water and light snacks.

Medical staff will be onsite throughout the event to handle any emergencies.

Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event date. No refunds will be issued after this deadline.

Can I transfer my registration to another person?

Yes, registration transfers are permitted up to 7 days before the event. Please contact us at info@victoriadayrace.com to arrange a transfer.
